Installing on Linux
- .deb:
sudo apt install ./DNP-linux-amd64-*.deb, then open DNP from your applications menu. When an update is out, DNP says so and opens this page for the new package. - AppImage:
chmod +x DNP-linux-x64-*.AppImageand run it. On Ubuntu 22.04 installlibfuse2first. Ubuntu 23.10 and later restrict the user namespaces an AppImage's sandbox needs, so on those releases use the .deb. - DNP keeps you signed in through your desktop's keyring (GNOME Keyring or KWallet). Without one, it asks you to sign in each time it starts rather than store your session unencrypted.
- Terminals and agents run the same as on macOS. The managed Codex chat view needs macOS for now; on Linux, run Codex in a terminal node. Managed Claude Code, Grok and OpenCode chats work on Linux.
